On the morning of Aug. 9th 2017, representatives of Beijing Hongzhou Learning Co. Ltd. were invited to visit the Embassy of Bulgaria in Beijing again after the Education Beyond Borders which held in March 2017 in Sofia, Bulgaria. Secretary Denitza of the Embassy cordially received the representatives of Hongzhou Learning, and highly appreciated the efforts they made for the Education exchange between China and Bulgaria. She claimed that on behalf of Bulgaria Embassy in Beijing, they will continue to provide strong support to Hongzhou Learning and boost more cooperation between the above mentioned countries.

Under the B&R policy, from 2016, Beijing Hongzhou Learning Co. Ltd. has been actively developed the inter-school cooperation between China and Bulgaria. In March 2017, Beijing Hongzhou Learning led 14 Chinese Universities to participate in the Education Beyond Borders Expo(EBBS) in Sofia, the capital city of Bulgaria, and during that time periods, they also visited 6 local Universities, which achieved a fruitful result. 

Bulgaria actively involve in the B&R initiative, the cooperation between two countries brings many factual benefit. In 1984, Sino- Bulgaria resumed the cooperate relationship in education field, and exchanged students with each other. In June 1990, the two countries signed the agreement to recognize each other’s diploma. In 1953, Sofia University opened Chinese major.  In June 2006, Confucius Institute established in Sofia. Since 2008, the quota of mutual scholarship students from two countries increased from 25 to 35. At the moment, there are around 70 Chinese students study in Bulgaria, and 170 Bulgaria students study in China. In Nov. 2012, the two countries signed”2012-2015 Sino-Bulgaria Education Cooperation Agreement”. In Oct. 2015, The Ministry of Education between the two countries renewed the agreement.
